Booking policies

*Please note due to the nature of one off band rehearsal bookings, our booking policies below do not apply (aside from our late & cancellation policy) and no deposit is required. Advance bookings for bulk rehearsal bookings are subject to a deposit and our cancellation policies. For one off bookings, we reserve the right to refuse bands that repeatedly cancel, without first paying a deposit. Band rehearsal residencies require payment in advance of each month for bookings to be confirmed in our calendar.*

Band rehearsal cancellations:
Rehearsal cancellations (with notice under 1 week) are charged at 50% if more than 24 hours notice is provided. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

Making a booking:
Upon contacting us to book in for a rehearsal, livestream, attended mix session or one of our other services besides rehearsals, we will take your contact details and arrange for a 50% deposit of the agreed fee to be made. This deposit is non-refundable.  We will send you an invoice for the deposit, and payment can either be made via BACS (bank transfer) via our account details on the invoice, or should you wish to pay via card, we will send you a card payment link. Once we have received the deposit payment, your agreed booking date(s) will then be confirmed in our bookings calendar. Dates are not confirmed until the deposit payment has been made. We will hold your booking date(s) for up to 7 days prior to the deposit being paid. In the case of last minute bookings (less than 7 days away from the date and up to 24 hours prior) the deposit must be paid the same day as the booking request being made, as we cannot hold any dates with less than 7 days notice.

In the event of cancellations, the deposit paid will be taken as a cancellation fee. This is to cover any potential losses we may incur due to not being able to cover the cancelled dates with other client bookings. This is non-negotiable unless the cancellation is due to unprecedented circumstances, ie severe illness or bereavement. In those situations we will endeavour to meet an amicable arrangement. 

Late Policy:
We will allow for a 15 minute grace period for any bookings (including rehearsals) after which you are then on the clock, and your booking time starts from when you booked, not when you arrived.

For bookings other than rehearsal bookings: In the event that you need to reschedule a booking, we will hold your deposit for up to 7 days whilst we seek an alternate date that is agreeable. Upon cancellation of any rescheduled date(s) any further rescheduling will be subject to a further 50% deposit. When you book a session, you are responsible for your equipment, as well as any studio equipment that you may use. Equipment breaks from time to time and this is part of the upkeep of our studio – however, any broken equipment due to misuse by yourself will be charged for, and added on to your final bill/invoice at cost value.

Alcohol & Smoking:

Alcohol is permitted on site, as long as it is consumed sensibly and kept away from studio equipment. Any equipment damaged by spillages you may be billed for the cost of repair/replacement of said equipment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site and we asked that you go outside if you wish to smoke.

Noise disturbances:

We are in a shared building, so we ask that when you are in communal areas of the building (corridors or stairwells) you respect our neighbours and behave responsibly. When rehearsing, windows must be kept closed at all times, and we ask that you rehearse at sensible volumes.
